Dimitri Papalexopoulos

Dimitri Papalexopoulos was elected Chairman of the Board of SEV Hellenic Federation of Enterprises in June 2020.

Dimitri Papalexopoulos is Chairman of Titan Cement International (TCI), a cement and building materials producer active since 1902. TCI directly employs about 5.500 people, operates cement plants in 10 countries and is active in many more.

Mr. Papalexopoulos is Vice-Chair of the European Round Table for Industry (ERT) and chairs the ERT’s Energy Transition & Climate Change Committee.

He is a member of the Board of the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (ΙΟΒΕ), the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) and of “Endeavor Greece”.

He holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ) and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Prior to joining TITAN, he was a consultant for McKinsey & Company in New York and Munich.

He speaks Greek, English, French and German. He is married and has three children.

He was born in 1954. He holds a BA in Government from Harvard University and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. He held several leadership positions for almost 20 years at Owens Corning, where he served as President of the Global Composites and Insulation Business Units in the US headquarters. Earlier he had led the European Composites business based in Brussels. He joined S&B Industrial Minerals S.A. in 1998 as Chief Operating Officer (1998-2001), became the first non-family Chief Executive Officer (2001-2011) and served on the Board of Directors for 15 years.

He was a member of the Board of Directors of RAYCAP S.A. from 2001 to 2016 and Advisor to the Management since 2011. He was also member of the Board of Future Pipe Industries (Dubai, U.A.E.) from 2008 to 2019 and member of the board of ENOIA BV from 2009 to 2013, where he served as Chairman from 2011 to 2013.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of TITAN CEMENT COMPANY S.A. since 2004 and Advisor to the Management since 2011. Co-founder and Advisor of Zeus Capital Management since 2007. He is also a board member of ALPHA BANK since 2014, a member of the board of Fairfield-Maxwell Ltd (U.S.A.) since 2018 and a member of the board of Eurolife FFH Insurance Group Holdings S.A. since January 2021.

He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Greek Mining Enterprises Association (from 2001 to 2009) and became Chairman from 2005 to 2009. Moreover, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) from 2006 to 2016, where he served as Vice Chairman (2010-2014) and as Secretary General (2014-2016). Furthermore, he is the founder of the SEV Business Council for Sustainable Development and was the Chairman thereof from 2008 to 2016.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of Solidarity Now since 2013 and Vice-Chairman since 2016. He is also a member of the Board of ALBA Business School since 2016. Has served on the Advisory Boards of egg (enter-grow-go) and the MBA International Program of Athens University of Economics & Business.

Today, Spyros Theodoropoulos leads the food group BESPOKE SGA HOLDINGS SA, which he founded in early 2022 by acquiring the cold cuts company NIKAS, the chocolate manufacturer ION, the ready meals company AMBROSIA and the juice company HELLENIC JUICES employing 1,500 people.

He began his professional career in 1976 at the family-owned dairy production company Recor S.A. In 1989, he acquired CHIPITA with the aim of implementing the innovative idea of producing packaged long shelf-life croissants, for the first time worldwide.

In 2006, CHIPITA merged with the companies DELTA, Goody’s, and Barba Stathis, creating the Group VIVARTIA, where he became CEO. In 2007, VIVARTIA was acquired by MIG, and Spyros Theodoropoulos continued to hold the position of CEO.

In 2010, Spyros Theodoropoulos, together with the Olayan Group and other Greek entrepreneurs, reacquired CHIPITA, which he developed into one of the leading companies in bakery snacks globally.

He remained CEO of CHIPITA until its acquisition by MONDELEZ in 2021, in a landmark deal for the Greek food sector. He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of SEV (Hellenic Federation of Enterprises).

In the past, he has served as Chairman of the Association of Listed Companies, Vice Chairman of the Athens Stock Exchange, member of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Greece and member of the Board of Directors of Public Power Corporation.

Since March 2020, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Greece.

He is a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business.

Evangelos Mytilineos is the Chairman and CEO of MYTILINEOS, one of Greece’s leading companies with strong presence in all five continents. MYTILINEOS’ activities expand in 4 business units: Power & Gas, Metallurgy, Sustainable Engineering Solutions and Renewables & Storage Development, with revenues exceeding €1,9 billion in 2020 and more than 3,660 direct and indirect employees.
Born in Athens in 1954, Evangelos Mytilineos holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Athens and an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics. In 2019 he was awarded an honorary doctorate from the Department of Business Administration and Management at the University of Piraeus.

In 1978, Evangelos Mytilineos took over the family business, which was founded in 1908 and represented metal and steel product manufacturers. In 1990 he established MYTILINEOS Holdings Group. With strategic acumen, Evangelos Mytilineos expanded the company’s operations by acquiring the majority shareholding of metal construction company METKA S.A. as well as that of Aluminium of Greece, eventually positioning it as the largest fully vertically integrated producer of alumina and aluminium in Europe. In 1995, MYTILINEOS Holdings Group was listed in the Athens Stock Exchange while in the early 2000s, MYTILINEOS entered the energy sector with Protergia, which today is the Group’s flagship company.

In 2017, following Evangelos Mytilineos proposal, the General Assemblies of MYTILINEOS Group and METKA approved the corporate transformation of the Group with all subsidiaries: Aluminum of Greece, METKA and Protergia merging into a new single business entity. In 2018, MYTILINEOS acquired 97,87% of EPALME, the largest independent producer of recycled aluminum and 100% of M&M Gas S.A. (MNG Trading). In 2019, MYTILINEOS announced being the sole shareholder (100%) of METKA EGN, a company focused on development and construction of utility scale projects for the global solar power and energy storage markets.

In 2021, Evangelos Mytilineos set the ground for a 100% sustainable and green industrial operation. He announced the acquisition of EGNATIA GROUP, with a 1485MW PV and 1240MW Energy Storage portfolio, which will immediately enter the construction phase, and at the same time a 30% emissions reduction target for 2030 and aspiring to reach net zero emissions by 2050 and positioning MYTILINEOS as one of the first companies in Europe and one of the first industries globally, that embed bold sustainable growth targets in business operations.

Today, Evangelos Mytilineos is Vice President of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) and President of SEV’s Energy Committee.

Ioulia Tsetis received her BSc from the School of Pharmacy of NKUA and holds a MSc degree in Biopharmaceutical Science from the University of Manchester.

Since 2010 she is President and CEO of Tsetis Pharmaceutical Group comprising of UNI-PHARMA S.A., INTERMED S.A. and UNI-HERBO S.A. in Greece and PHARMABELLE in Cyprus.
She has also founded the Non-Profit Association entitled “Kleon Tsetis” promoting Health Sciences by actively supporting the new generation of scientists with scholarships.
Moreover, she is General Secretary of the BoD of SEV (Hellenic Federation of Enterprises) and Chair of the BoD of UN Global Compact Network Hellas.
She has received numerous significant achievement awards by Greek and international certified bodies, including profitable investment plans in Greece, continuous revenue growth, and export activities in over 66 countries. The Tsetis Pharmaceutical Group, a pioneer of innovation, participates in and sponsors a wide range of collaborative Research and Development projects joining forces with prestigious academic institutions and spearheads digital transformation in the pharmaceutical industry, fully immersed in the industry 4.0 paradigm shift.

Ioulia Tsetis is the holder of 86 patents and has co-authored and published more than 16 scientific papers.
On June 14th, 2022, was held an awarding ceremony conferring the title of Doctor Honoris causa upon Julia Tsetis.

Marco Veremis

Born in Athens in 1973, Marco holds a BA from the University of Warwick and an MPhil from Oxford University.

Marco started his career in 1996 as a marketing strategist at WPP, Omnicom and IPG in London.

In 2002, he co-founded Upstream, today a leading technology company, operating in 45+ countries with over 300 employees. Marco served as Upstream’s CEO until June 2017 and is now its Executive Chairman of the Board, as well as Partner at BigPi Venture Capital.

Marco is an active angel investor and member of the board in technology companies such as Persado, Workable and Hellas Direct.

He is Chairman of Junior Achievement Greece and a board member of SEV – Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE), Endeavor, and diaNEOsis think tank. In 2013, he received the EY Greek “Entrepreneur of the Year” award.

Peggy Antonakou

Peggy Antonakou is the Regional General Manager of Google for Southeast Europe.

She took up the role in 2019 after having served as CEO of Microsoft for Greece, Cyprus, and Malta for eight years. Before that she was the General Manager for DELL’s Consumer Business for Italy and Southern Europe, having previously worked for Dell USA, General Motors USA and Opel Bank GMBH both in Europe and the United States, for over a decade. She is also currently serving as a non executive member of several Board of Directors.

Peggy holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus.

Her broad experience in different industries and diverse background across geographies makes her one of the leading business figures in the region. In 2020, Fortune Magazine listed her as one of Greece’s most powerful women in business.

Mr. Vassilakis is the Managing Director of Autohellas S.A./Hertz and also the Chairman of Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air. Mr. Eftichios Vassilakis holds non-executive directorships with Greek listed retailer Fourlis and also luxury resorts developer TEMES. Since May 2017 Mr. Vassilakis is a non – executive member of the board of the listed company LAMDA DEVELOPMENT S.A.

He previously served as a non-executive board member with Piraeus Bank and Titan Cement. Since 2011 he has been a Board member of the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises and Vice Chairman from 2014. He is also a Board Member of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises(SEV). Mr. Vassilakis holds a B.A. in Economics from Yale University (1988) and an MBA from the Columbia Business School of New York (1991). He is married with three children.

Mr. Kallinikos Kallinikos is the Executive Vice President of Goldair Group as well as the Vice President & Managing Director of Goldair Cargo SA, which holds a key position in the market of International forwarding and Logistics. He is also the Executive Vice President of Goldair Handling s.a., which offers ground handling services in 26 airports in Greece, 2 in Cyprus, 3 in Bulgaria and 2 in Ethiopia.

Mr. Kallinikos has been active since 1988, in the market of retail at first and later in the foodservices market. Since 2000, he holds a leading position in the top management of Goldair Cargo, Hellas Logistics, Mediterranean Logistics, Goldair, Goldair Handling and Goldeco.

Finally, Mr. Kallinikos participates as a member in the Board of Directors of SETE, Marketing Greece, INSETE, ETVA VI.PE., PIRAEUS FACTORING, Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Entrepreneurship Association in Greece and the National Council for Logistics Development and Competitiveness.

Naya Kalogeraki is the Chief Operating Officer of Coca-Cola HBC A.G. (CCHBC), a public company listed on the London and Athens Stock Exchanges and included in the FTSE 100 Index. In this role she oversees the operations of 29 countries on 3 continents reporting to the CEO. She has more than 25 years of experience with The Coca-Cola Company and CCHBC, having built her career through commercial and General Manager roles leading to CCCO and then COO, and being a member of the Executive Leadership Team of CCHBC. She has also served as the Chairperson of the Global Customer Governance Board of the Coca-Cola Company while she is a member of the following Boards: Adelink Ltd., Café del Vergnano, Coca-Cola Bottling Company Egypt S.A and Coca-Cola HBC AG. Since October 2021. Kalogeraki is also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Hellenic Corporation of Assets S.A (HCAP). She holds a BSc in Business Administration and an MBA from Kent University. She has also attended Strategic management programs at Harvard Business School.

Ioannis Karagiannis

Ioannis Karagiannis was appointed the executive Chairman of the Olympia Group in 2016. Prior to this he was the Advisor to the Management for the Olympia Group, a post he held since 2010. He joined Germanos SA in 1994 as Commercial Director of the Germanos stores, before becoming General Manager of Germanos SA in 1997. In 2001 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the company, a role he held for nine years.

Mr. Karagiannis holds a BSc from Greece’s National Technical University in Chemical Engineering and also holds an MBA.

Mr. Panos Kyriakopoulos is the Chairman and C.E.O. of STAR INVESTMENTS, since July 2002, one of the leading Mass Media and Technology Groups in Greece, controlling a TV station [STAR CHANNEL], Radio Stations, technology companies and the Greek Yellow Pages. The company participates also in DIGEA SA [digital broadcasting].

In parallel Mr. Kyriakopoulos is a member of the BoD of Euroseas Ltd (Ship owning company listed in NASDAQ), a member of the supervisory board of AVIN International, President of the Association of the Private National Broadcasting Television Companies and a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises [SEV]. He has been in the past a member of the BoD in various companies such as GEK-TERNA and AGET HERACLES.

From July 1997 to July 2002 he was the C.E.O of the Hellenic Post Group and up to 2006 a member of the BoD.

From August 1996 to July 1997 Mr. Panos Kyriakopoulos was an advisor to the technical company ATEMKE S.A.

From July 1986 up to July 1996 he was the Managing Director of Globe Group of Companies, a group active in the areas of ship owning and management, textiles, food and distribution.

He has served the Greek Army from October 1984 to June 1986.

Mr. Kyriakopoulos has a B.Sc. degree in Marine Engineering from University of Newcastle upon Tyne, England. He has a M.Sc. degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA and a Master in Business Administration from Imperial College, London.

He is 57 years old, married with two children. He speaks English and French.

Mr. Panos Kyriakopoulos has been decorated by the Hellenic Ministry of National Defense with the Star and the Cross First Class of Merit and Honour and has been awarded a merit by the Ministers of Transport and Communications and Economy for his service to the Hellenic Post Group. He has also been awarded by the President of the Hellenic Republic with the rank of a Brigadier General (honors) of the Hellenic Army.

Aristotelis Panteliadis

Aristotelis Panteliadis was born and raised in Athens, Greece.

He graduated from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) in 1989. During his studies, he worked at the family business. In 2001, he took over as Chief Executive Officer of METRO AEBE, at age 33.

In February 2016, METRO AEBE acquired VEROPOULOS, thus forming one of the largest retail chains in the Greek market. Today, the company owns over 270 locations of My market retail super markets and METRO Cash & Carry wholesale markets. The stores are strategically located all over the country. The company currently employs over 10.500 people.

Aristotle Panteliadis is President of ECR (Efficient Consumer Response) on behalf of retailers and a member of the board of several entities, including IELKA (Institute of Retail Consumer Goods – GR) and EEDE (Hellenic Management Association). In 2015, Mr Panteliadis was awarded the Retail Manager of the Year 2015 and Manager of the Year accolades by the Hellenic Management Association.

Born in Athens, Greece in 1957, received his degree in Civil Engineering in 1980 from the National Technical University of Athens.

His professional involvement with TERNA S.A. began in 1981.

From 1982 through 1984 Mr. Peristeris was the Construction Director of major construction projects.

In 1984 he became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TERNA S.A.Major achievements through his career include:

  • In 1993 TERNA S.A. IPO in the Athens Stock Exchange.
  •  In 1997 he founded TERNA ENERGY S.A. to enter the renewable energy production sector. TERNA ENERGY is since a leading company in RES in SE Europe. IPO in Athens Stock Exchange 2007.
  •  In 1999 GEK and TERNA consolidated, forming GEK TERNA Group.
  • In 2000 he was elected President of the Hellenic Association of Renewable Energy Producers.
  • In 2002 he became Chairman of GEK TERNA S.A.
  • In 2003 HERON THERMOELECTRIC S.A. was established to become the first privately owned Greek thermoelectric plant, which was followed by the establishment of HERON II.

He is actively involved in the construction sector, concessions as well as in the electricity production sector especially from Renewable Energy Sources. The company operates wind farms in Greece, Bulgaria, Poland, and the U.S.A.

Andreas N. Shiamishis

Chief Executive Officer of Hellenic Petroleum since August 2019 and a member of its Board of Directors as a representative of POIH. Mr. A. Shiamishis holds an Economics degree from the University of Essex and is a fellow member (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ΙCAEW). He began his career in 1989 with KPMG in London, specializing in the banking sector and large multinational Groups before joining DIAGEO in 1993, to assume senior Greek and European positions in Finance and Business development. During 2000-2002 he worked as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Restructuring Officer in a high-tech ASE listed Group and in 2003 he joined PETROLA HELLAS as Chief Financial Officer. Following the completion of the legal merger and operational integration of PETROLA HELLAS with HELLENIC PETROLEUM, he assumed the position of the Group CFO in 2005 and became a member of the Group Executive Committee. In 2012 he assumed the responsibility for International subsidiaries and in 2014 he was appointed Deputy CEO of the Group. He is a member in various ICAEW specialized faculties, the Board of Corporate Governance of the AMHEC and the Economic Chamber of Greece.

Asimina Tzikas

Asimina Tzikas was born in Thessaloniki in 1975. She studied Business Administration in University of Macedonia and then received her MBA from Keele University in England. She also speaks English and Italian.

Asimina joined ELVIAL SA in 1998. ELVIAL is one of the main aluminium profiles extruders in the European market, with more than 30 years of experience, and also one of the growing and financially healthiest companies at an international level. Her major is Strategic Planning and Financial Services, while she has significant experience in Exports, especially in Balkans region. She was appointed CEO of the company in January 2015.

She is the Secretary-General of Board of Directors of Aluminium Association in Greece.

A.A.G. is a non-profit organization aiming to promote and explore the use of the aluminium products and to support the position of its members.

She is married to Nikolaos Kyriakou and has two children, Konstantinos and Dimitris.

Theodore E. Tryfon was born in Mytilini – Lesvos. He graduated from Athens College of Greece and he earned his BSc in Economics and Business Administration, from the University of Southampton in UK. He continued his studies by earning his MBA from the City University of London Business School.

In 1990 and 1991 he worked in Henkel Hellas, Tryfon – Kastrinis S.A., a family owned business, which was sold to Henkel Germany early 1992.

In 1992 he joined Elpen Co. Inc. one of the leading Pharmaceutical Industries in Greece. The Elpen Group of Companies had a turnover of 200.000.000€ in 2018 with more than 1000 employees in Greece and abroad and exports in more than 40 countries. Elpen has a subsidiary in Germany, Elpen GmbH, since 2014. Mr. Tryfon is Co/CEO of the Elpen Group. Moreover, since 2014 he is the President of the Panhellenic Union of Pharmaceutical Industries (PEF), an Association which has 45 members (27 industries).

From 1999 to 2003 he was a member of the Board of Athens Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACCI) and a Member of the General Council of Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV).

Michael Tsamaz heads OTE Group, the largest telecommunications provider in Greece and SE Europe, since November 2010, part of Deutsche Telekom AG.
Under his leadership, OTE Group managed to streamline its financials, create new revenue streams and transform into a modern, customer centric, tech enterprise, with COSMOTE as the unified brand for its fixed, mobile, internet and TV P&S. Its healthy financials allow OTE Group to implement a comprehensive, long term investment plan in fiber optics networks, mobile NGNs, ICT and Pay TV services, advancing Greece’s infrastructure. Group strategy now focuses on its digital transformation and adaptation to the new digital era.
Since 2001, Michael Tsamaz held several senior roles within OTE, overseeing the course of its international investments, where he reformed operations, and served as CEO & BoD member for a number of OTE & COSMOTE international subsidiaries. He also served as BoD member of EE, UK. Mr. Tsamaz is also Chairman of the Board of Telekom Romania Communications S.A. He is a MoB of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) since July 2016 and heads the Digital Economy Committee since November 2016. Prior to his tenure at OTE Group, he held high ranking positions in Marketing, Sales & General Management for multinational companies such as Vodafone and Philip Morris.
Mr Tsamaz holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick, Canada.

He was born in Athens in 1968 and holds a PhD in Banking and a MA in Business and Banking from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.

He held various senior management positions at ABN AMRO Bank’s Financial Institutions Group in London and at Emporiki Bank wherein he has worked as Deputy (acting) Chief Financial Officer.

He joined Alpha Bank in 2007. In 2010 he was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and in 2012 he was appointed General Manager. Through these posts, he spearheaded capital raisings from foreign institutional shareholders, diversifying the Bank’s shareholder base, as well as significant mergers and acquisitions that contributed to the consolidation of the Greek banking market, reinforcing the position of the Bank.

He has been a Member of the Board of Directors of the Bank since November 2018 and Chief Executive Officer since January 2019.

In 2019 he was elected member of the Institut International d ‘ Études Bancaires (IIEB).

Professor Emeritus Kleomenes Barlos was born on March 20, 1949 in Patras. He received a BA in Chemistry and a PhD in Chemistry degree from the University of Munich in 1976, concerning the composition and fasmatoskopeia boranes, organophosphorus and organosilicon compounds.

In 1980, he joined the Organic Chemistry Laboratory of the University of Patras as Specialist and subsequently came to the rank of Professor. Since 1981, he teaches “Organic Chemistry” and “Peptide and Combinatorial Chemistry” at the University of Patras where he worked in the areas of amino acid derivatives, specialty polymers and synthesis of peptides and small proteins.

Moreover, he founded CBL Patras S.A. in 1990 with the business of which he is engaged to date.

Since 2015, he serves as Chairman of the Board, Federation of Industries of Peloponnese & Western Greece and from 2016, he is a member of the National Council for Research and Innovation of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs.

Athanasios Syrianos was born in Piraeus, studied economics at the Albertus Magnus University in Cologne, Germany. From 1984 to 1987 he worked at the family shipping company AION 21, based in Piraeus. In 1988 he participated in a study by the Institute of Transport Sciences of the University of Cologne, for the Commission of the European Community, on the development of road transport in Europe. From 1989 to 1992 he worked for Roland Berger, the International Business Consultants company, in Munich. From 1992 to 2019 he was the Managing Director and since 1997, he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Brewery of Atalanti S.A.

He has served as a member of the Boards of Directors of the Hellenic German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (2007-2022), the KARENTA A.E./ /Distributor of Audi, VW & Skoda (2019-2022), the Marketing Greece/a company for the promotion and development of tourism (2018- ), the Association of Industries of Thessaly and Central Greece (2016-2019), the German School of Athens (1996-2012), the Hellenic Rowing Federation (1985-1988) and the Olympiacos Piraeus Sports Club (1984-1988). He was an athlete, member of the national rowing team. He is married to Dorothea Mertin and they have three children. He speaks German and English.

Panos Lolos

Mr. Panos Lolos was born in 1972. He holds a B.A. in Political Science & International Studies from Panteion University, an M.A. in International Economics from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the University of Piraeus.
From 2000 until 2001 he worked in AV VASSILOPOULOS S.A. -a subsidiary of the Belgian food retailer DELHAIZE. Since 2001, he joined the heavy industry having an experience in the domestic and exports sales of HALCOR S.A. -a leading European manufacturer that specializes in the production, processing and marketing of copper and copper alloy products with dynamic commercial presence in the European and global markets. He undertook the position of the General Manager of the Copper and Copper Alloys Division of ELVALHALCOR S.A. in 2020 whereas today he holds the position of the General Manager of the Copper Sector of the same company.

Mr. Lolos is the Chairman of the ASSOCIATION OF INDUSTRIES OF CENTRAL GREECE, executive member of the BoD of ELVALHALCOR S.A., member of the BoD of SOFIA MED A.D., ΕANEP-Ο.Α. S.A., ΕDEP-Ο.Α. S.A., the HELLENIC FEDERATION OF ENTERPRISES (SEV)- in which he holds the position of the Chairman of the International Trade Committee- and the HELLENIC PRODUCTION-Industry Roundtable for Growth, while he is a registered member of the ECONOMIC CHAMBER OF GREECE.

Dimitrios Mathios

Mr. Dimitrios Mathios was born in 1954 in Piraeus. He is graduate of Ziridio Lyceum in 1972 and of the Polytechnic of Torino (Italy) where he studied from 1972 to 1977 in the Specialty of Architect – Engineer. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is CEO in the company “MATHIOS REFRACTORIES SA” and in “Ideal Refractories SA” listed in Athens Stock Exchange Market. Owner – Responsible Sales & Promotion of retail stores for the construction of building materials “BAU MARKET SA”. Vice President of the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EVEP). Member of the European Association of Refractories Manufacturers. Member of Association of Energy Engineers. President of the Federation of Industries of Attica and Piraeus (SVAP). Vice President to Businessmen Association of Europan Capital Cities (BECC). Vice President of the Hellenic-Slovenian Chamber. Member of the BoD in the Greek-Saudi Association. Member of the BoD at the Hellenic-Ethiopian Chamber.

George Roupakias

President of the Association of Thessalian Enterprises and Industries (STHEV)

George Roupakias was born in 1980 in Larisa. He studied Civil Engineering in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He then continued his studies in Leeds University, where he acquired his master in MSc Construction Management.

His is CEO of PROKEL S.A. and VERMION S.A., as well as CEO and Vice President of «Agios Nikitas» clinic, headquartered in Larisa.

He is constantly participating in STEV’s activities and continuously elected in the Board of Directors since 2007, while he served as a Vice President from 2010 to 2019.

He takes part in various construction projects, since he has worked as Organization and Planning Manager, Quality Control and Operations Manager, as well as in the department of Static and Architecture Research in Prokel S.A.

He represents STHEV in working group of SEV (Hellenic Federation of Enterprises), called «Licensing of Projects and Activities».

He speaks English, he is married and father to a boy.
