Business Delegation to Dubai

SEV, in collaboration with SEVE and the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, have organized a business delegation to Dubai from the 12th to the 15th of March 2018.

This visit gave substance to the Memorandum of Understanding between SEV and the Federation of the UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry that was signed last May in Athens, on the establishment of the Emirati-Greek Joint Business Council.

The strength of the Business Council is that it can act as a gateway between the two business communities. This way, the Business Council can elaborate on issues raised by companies operating in both countries, helping to lift barriers and facilitate trade and investments in both countries. It will enable companies to seek new opportunities.

The business delegation was led by the Executive Vice-Chairman of SEV, Mr. Bitsios, and accompanied by the Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Katrougalos.

During the delegation, a Greek-Emirati Forum was organized with the presence of the Minister of Economy of the UAE, Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori. The Minister underlined his willingness to build a strong cooperation between the two geo-strategic parts of the world, to invest in Greece and organize a second business meeting in Greece before the end of the year.

The 14 Greek companies that joined the delegation are the following:

  • ASPROFOS Engineering S.A.
  • CaO HELLAS
