METAL MACHINERY 2018:The Greek metal industry’s trade show on 9-11 November
The restarting of domestic production and the goal for a 12% share in the national economy by 2020, create new opportunities and reveal significant potential for growth and investment in the Greek manufacturing sector.
Within this framework, the METAL MACHINERY 2018 trade show is making a dynamic comeback and allowing suppliers and customers to get a first-hand look at all the latest developments in metal processing, industrial equipment and new production technologies.
Innovative solutions that will enhance competitiveness and access to new markets and products, as well as new trends such as digitalization and smart manufacturing, are expected to draw visitors’ attention.
The trade show is addressed to all industrial sectors, metal working, steel, iron, aluminium, electrical engineering, energy, electronic, ship-building, the automotive industry, refineries, etc.
Exhibitors will have the opportunity to meet representatives of industrial groups, manufacturers, production engineers, technical directors, design engineers, quality managers, buyers and R&D specialists, and present them the products and solutions that they can offer.
METAL MACHINERY 2018 is pleased to announce the special participation of the Laboratory of Technology and Processes (School of Mechanical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens), which will present options for service provision using state-of-the-art techniques, while also introducing the laboratory’s research through characteristic applications that can lead to innovative products and services.
The top companies on the Greek market, representing more than 300 Greek and foreign firms, have committed to attending the trade show, which aims to become a point of reference for the restarting of Greece’s industrial sector.
METAL MACHINERY 2018 is organized by ROTA SA and TEXPO SA, and will run from the 9th to the 11th of November at Metropolitan EXPO, at Eleftherios Venizelos airport.
METAL MACHINERY 2018 is supported by SEKEM (Hellenic Association of trading companies, manufacturers of metalworking, cutting and welding machines) and is under the auspices of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EVEP), and the Central Union of Chambers of Greece (KEEE).
