Gizelis Robotics announces George Braimis as Managing Director

Gizelis Robotics announces that Mr. George Braimis assumed the duties of Managing Director of the company, as of 04/10/2021. Mr. Braimis has a long and broad experience in the industrial sector in Greece, having held high, technical, and managerial, positions in Greek and multinational Groups. Mr. Braimis started his career in the company FAGE of Filippou Group, as Maintenance manager (1994-2000). He joined FRIGOGLASS as Head of Technical Support for the Group’s glassworks and other activities in Nigeria (2001-2004). He rejoined the Filippou Group, becoming Managing Director of MORNOS packaging company, and Managing Director of EVGA Food company(2004-2011). Mr. Braimis then became Managing Director of the Packaging Division in Thrace Plastics Group, responsible for the activities in Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Serbia, Sweden, Norway, and Ireland, and subsequently served as Group Chief Operating Officer and Executive Member of the Group’s Board of Directors (2011-2020), with responsibility for all the Group’s manufacturing and commercial activities, both in the aforementioned markets and in the USA. Prior to joining Gizelis Robotics, he was President and CEO of G4S (Secure Solutions). Mr. Braimis holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc from Imperial College and has postgraduate studies in Business Administration from INSEAD and Marketing & Sales from Northwestern/Kellogg (USA).

It is noted that Gizelis Robotics is currently the largest integrator of robotics systems and high-tech automation applications in Greece, targeting the Greek and global market. It provides both unique and on-demand robotic solutions as well as combined robotics and artificial intelligence

solutions to the Greek industry and foreign markets. It develops, in the Greek and international market, an ultramodern range of collaborative, autonomous robots that upgrade the production and materials management capabilities of businesses in sectors such as industry, retail, logistics, etc.
