Gizelis Robotics smart factory robotic technologies make an ‘’international’’ career
Gizelis Robotics is inviting Greek and international industries to move to the era of smart factories
It is our great pleasure that we cooperated closely with Calpak. The new smart factory incorporates robotic systems and state–of–the-art high-tech robotic innovations developed by Gizelis Robotics, increasing its productivity and effectively meeting the growing orders it has to manage. With the introduction of robotic arms Gizelis Robotics succeeded in automating the boiler construction line and the welding, handling and assembly configuration works, followed by the complete automation of the second production line of solar panels. The 1st smart factory in Greece is making an ‘’international’’ career, as it was presented at this year’s digital salon of the world’s leading technology exhibition in Hannover Messe.
It is noted that the industry was recently visited by the Greek Prime Minister who had the opportunity to tour the fully automated assembly configuration and welding lines installed by Gizelis Robotics. Gizelis Robotics is the main partner of the company in the realization of its vision to upgrade its production unit with the cutting edge technologies of Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing. The robotic technologies and innovations in Calpak factory are part of the important integrated industry 4.0 projects that Gizelis Robotics has implemented in the Greek industry, putting smart manufacturing into practice.
Gizelis Robotics substantially contributed to the implementation of the first private campus network in Greece in collaboration with COSMOTE and Ericsson. The result of this collaboration is the integration into the network of the connected robotic machines of Gizelis Robotics and the augmented reality (AR) applications of the company PTC for the collection and utilization of data produced by the robotic mechanisms, forming an integrated production automation ecosystem in Calpak.

We maximize the overall efficiency, reliability and safe operation of the production unit. With continuous investments in our people and automation technologies and we international partnerships, we have put our signature in the innovative smart factories of our country’’.
