New cloud database solution lowers data management costs and creates efficiencies to enhance site experience for users
Nicosia, October 18, 2018 — Xscores.com, a provider of live sports scores, results, fixtures, standings and statistics, has chosen Oracle Database Cloud to improve the data management capabilities of its platform. By simplifying and automating tasks including monitoring availability, diagnostics, backup and recovery, Xscores.com is able to run its operations more efficiently and dedicate more time to enhancing the online user experience.
When it was time for Xscores.com to upgrade to Oracle Database Cloud Service, it found the experience similar to working with the on-premise solution. This allowed Xscores.com to easily migrate its data directly into the Oracle Cloud and transfer its current knowledge to the database cloud service.
In making the transition to Oracle Cloud, Xscores.com gained full access to the features and operations available with Oracle Database, with Oracle providing the computing power, physical storage and tooling to simplify routine database maintenance and management operations. This has enabled Xscores.com to achieve the benefits of on-demand scalability and continuous reliability at lower costs including zero support fees included with the subscription.
Xscores.com worked with NewCytech Business Solutions Ltd, a Platinum level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) and the only Managed Service Provider in Cyprus for its migration. NewCytech provided access to the Oracle Database Cloud and associated professional services that enabled Xscores.com to easily migrate their existing on-premise workloads to the cloud.
